Smc fan control reset default mac#
Interesting thing is that the logs of the Mac Fan Control app dumps the values of the SMC Keys.

I went ahead and installed Mac Fan Control and it did work for me. I tried using smcFanControl on my MBP 16 2019, and as I can see you are mentioning SMC keys have changed.
